Modules, packs, and plans
SaaSy shows a different sidebar to different workspaces. If a feature you expected is missing, one of two independent systems is responsible — and they behave very differently:
| What it is | Effect | |
|---|---|---|
| Navigation modules | Which sections appear in your sidebar | Cosmetic. The pages still work if you have the URL. |
| Plan and add-on entitlements | What your subscription includes | Real. The feature is unavailable until you add it. |
Work through the checks below in order — the first one that matches is your answer.
1. Has someone hidden it from your sidebar?
Modules are groups of related pages. Your workspace has a baseline set, and you can override that set for yourself.
Go to Settings → Navigation. You will see two sections:
- Workspace navigation — the default every member sees. Only workspace admins can change it.
- My navigation — your personal override. Every member can change their own.
Each module in My navigation has three settings:
| Setting | Effect |
|---|---|
| Workspace default | Follow whatever the workspace has set |
| Hidden for me | Hide it, even if the workspace shows it |
| Shown for me | Show it, even if the workspace hides it |
Hidden for me wins over everything else. Shown for me beats a workspace default that hides the
module — so you can switch on a module your workspace turned off, without involving an admin.
Hiding a module only removes it from the sidebar. The pages remain reachable by URL, and anyone with the link can still open them. Navigation settings are for reducing clutter — they are not a permission system. To control what people can actually do, use Settings → Roles and permissions.
2. Did your industry pack turn it off?
When you choose an industry at Industry Setup, SaaSy applies a pack that switches off modules that industry typically doesn't need. If a module was hidden this way, Settings → Navigation shows a badge reading Set by {pack} pack next to it.
To switch everything back on, select Reset to all on in the Workspace navigation section.
Here is what each pack enables by default:
| Module | Agency | Professional services | E-commerce | SaaS | Construction | Manufacturing | Nonprofit | General |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| CRM | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ |
| Finance | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ |
| Knowledge & Documents | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ |
| SaaSPass | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ |
| Grants | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ |
| Work Management | ✅ | ✅ | — | — | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ |
| Compliance | — | ✅ | — | — | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ |
| Payroll | — | — | — | — | ✅ | ✅ | — | ✅ |
| Service Operations | — | — | — | ✅ | — | ✅ | — | ✅ |
| Support | ✅ | — | ✅ | ✅ | — | — | — | ✅ |
| Sales Ops | ✅ | — | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ | — | ✅ |
| Outreach | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ | — | — | ✅ | ✅ |
| Customer Success | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ | — | — | — | ✅ |
| HR | — | — | — | — | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ |
| Agency | ✅ | — | — | — | — | — | — | ✅ |
| Developer Tools | — | — | — | ✅ | — | — | — | ✅ |
| Recruiting | — | — | — | — | — | — | — | ✅ |
| E-Signature | — | — | — | — | — | — | — | ✅ |
Two that surprise people: Recruiting and E-Signature are only on by default in the General pack. Every other pack hides them, even if your plan includes them. Switch them on under Settings → Navigation.
Some pages — your dashboard home, Settings, and Team — belong to no module and are always visible.
3. Is it included in your plan?
If a feature is genuinely not included, you'll see an upsell card when you open its page rather than an empty screen.
| Plan | Price | Businesses | Contacts | Team members |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $49/mo | 1 | 1,000 | 3 |
| Growth | $199/mo | 5 | 10,000 | 10 |
| Scale | $399/mo | Unlimited | Unlimited | Unlimited |
For current pricing, including any annual discount, see hellosaasy.ai/pricing — that page is the source of truth.
Included with every plan: SaaSPass, Grants, E-Signature, and Certified Payroll.
Growth adds: multiple businesses, AI guidance, Ask SaaSy, API access, and Slack alerts.
Scale adds: advanced analytics, custom automations, and priority support.
Paid add-ons
Two capabilities are not part of any plan and are always purchased separately:
| Add-on | What it covers | Pricing |
|---|---|---|
| Union & Labor Compliance | Dues checkoff, fringe and remittance, WH-347 certified payroll, apprentice ratios, ACH payees | Billed by member band (up to 50, up to 250, or unlimited) |
| Field Service | Job scheduling, dispatch board, job lifecycle, work orders | Flat rate |
If you told us during onboarding that you work with unions or run field service, those sections appear in your sidebar before you buy them. Opening one shows the add-on page rather than the feature — that is expected, not an error.
Add-ons can be purchased from the upsell card itself. Access unlocks immediately, without a reload. Change your member band or cancel from Settings → Billing.
Buying a module on its own
Some features can be bought standalone if you'd rather not change plan:
| Feature | Standalone price |
|---|---|
| E-Signature | $29/mo |
| Certified Payroll | $99/mo |
| Field Service | $79/mo |
| Extra storage (100 GB) | $10/mo |
Still can't find it?
If you've checked all three and the feature is still missing, email support@hellosaasy.ai with your workspace name and the feature you're looking for. Include whether the page appears under Settings → Navigation — that tells us immediately whether it's a visibility or a billing question.
