Account and Security
Set up who you are in SaaSy, how your workspace behaves, and the rules that govern sign-in. Your personal details live on the Profile page; workspace-wide settings — region, identity, password rules, session limits — live on the General and Security pages and apply to everyone in the workspace.
Update your profile
Your profile controls how your name and picture appear across the app.
- Open Settings, then Profile & Settings (
/dashboard/settings/profile). - In the Your Profile card, fill in First name, Last name, and Display name. The display name is how your name appears in the app; if you leave it blank, SaaSy falls back to your initials.
- To use a picture, paste a public image URL into Avatar URL. File upload is not available yet.
- Add a Phone number if you want it on record.
- Select Save profile.
Your email address is shown above the fields but is not editable here. Contact support if it needs to change.
Set workspace defaults
The General Settings page (/dashboard/settings/general) covers how your workspace formats and
labels things.
- Under Regional Preferences, choose your Timezone, Language, Currency, Date Format, and Time Format, then select Save.
- Under Workspace Identity, edit Workspace Name. Subdomain, Custom Domain, and Plan Tier are shown for reference — contact support to change your subdomain.
The same page has a Danger Zone with three irreversible or disruptive actions:
- Suspend workspace — ends all active sessions and blocks sign-in until you reactivate.
- Reactivate workspace — restores access for all members.
- Delete workspace forever — permanently deletes all data, members, and integrations. You must type a confirmation phrase before this proceeds.
Set security policies
The Security Settings page (/dashboard/settings/security) applies to every member of the
workspace, so changes here are administrative. Some saves prompt you to re-verify with
multi-factor authentication before they take effect.
- Under Authentication, tick Require Two-Factor Authentication to require 2FA for all users, and set Session Timeout (minutes) between 5 and 1440.
- Under Session Policy, set Maximum concurrent sessions per user (1 to 50) — older sessions are revoked when someone signs in over the limit — and an Idle timeout of Off, 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, 4 hours, or 12 hours. Select Save Session Policy; this section saves on its own.
- Under Password Policy, set Minimum Length and tick any of Require uppercase letters, Require lowercase letters, Require numbers, and Require special characters. Set Password Expiry (days) from 0 to 365, or leave it empty for no expiry.
- Under IP Whitelist, add addresses or ranges to restrict access to them. Leave the list empty to allow all addresses.
- Under Allowed Domains, add email domains to restrict who can sign up.
- Under Audit Log Retention, set the Retention Period (days) between 30 and 3650.
- Select Save Changes to apply everything except the session policy.
Review where you're signed in
The Active Sessions page (/dashboard/settings/sessions) lists the devices and browsers signed
in to your account, with the browser and operating system, IP address, Last active,
Signed in, and Expires times for each.
- Your current session is marked This device.
- A device you've marked as trusted shows a Trusted badge. Select Untrust to require MFA on the next sign-in from it.
- A session opened by SaaSy support is labelled Admin session. Revoking it cuts that access.
- Select Revoke on any single session, or Sign out everywhere to end every session including your current one. You'll need to sign in again.
The page also shows a Recent sign-ins history so you can spot access you don't recognize.
Verify your email and reset your password
New accounts are asked to confirm their email address from a link SaaSy sends after sign-up. Until that link is used, the account is treated as unverified.
If you can't sign in, select Forgot Password? on the login screen and enter your email. SaaSy sends a reset link; opening it takes you to a Reset Password screen where you set a new password. The new password must satisfy whatever rules your workspace has configured under Password Policy above.
