Billing and Plans
See what plan you're on, switch plans, add capacity, and check what your workspace is consuming. SaaSy has three paid plans — Starter, Growth, and Scale — plus a small set of add-ons. There is no free tier; every account begins with a 14-day trial. Current pricing is published at hellosaasy.ai/pricing, which is the source of truth.
Check your current plan
Open Settings, then Billing & Plan (/dashboard/settings/billing).
The banner at the top shows Current plan: with your plan name, Status:, and the renewal date. If you haven't subscribed yet it reads No active plan with the hint "Pick a plan below to start your 14-day trial."
If you cancelled recently, a second banner counts down the days left to Reactivate. Your data is preserved until the date shown; after that it is permanently removed.
Understand your plan limits
Each plan sets three hard allowances. These are the numbers that decide when you see an upgrade prompt.
| Plan | Businesses | Contacts | Team members |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | 1 | 1,000 | 3 |
| Growth | 5 | 10,000 | 10 |
| Scale | Unlimited | Unlimited | Unlimited |
Plans also differ in capability. Growth adds multiple businesses, AI guidance, Ask SaaSy, API access, and Slack alerts. Scale adds advanced analytics, custom automations, and priority support. SaaSPass, Grants, E-Signature, and Certified Payroll are included in every plan. For how these map to what appears in your sidebar, see Modules and Plans.
When you reach a limit, the affected surface tells you so rather than failing quietly — for example, the Team page blocks new invitations once your seats are used up. See Team and Roles.
Change your plan
- On the Billing & Plan page, use the Monthly / Annual toggle to pick a billing cadence. Annual pricing shows the equivalent monthly rate, the amount billed annually, and the percentage saved.
- Find the plan you want among the three cards. Your existing plan is marked Current plan.
- If you don't have a subscription yet, select Upgrade or Get Started. You're redirected to Stripe Checkout to enter payment details.
- If you already have a subscription, select Change plan in the banner or Switch to this plan on a card. This opens a change-plan dialog instead of a new checkout — no second payment entry.
Payments are processed securely via Stripe, and you can cancel anytime. Cancelling and invoices are handled from the Plan & Billing section of Settings: select Cancel subscription and your plan stays active through the end of the current billing period, so you can resubscribe before then to keep service uninterrupted. Past invoices are listed under Recent Invoices, each with a Download action.
Add capacity and add-ons
Below the plan cards, the Add-ons section covers everything sold separately from your base plan.
- Storage — a meter shows how much of your quota is used. Storage is shared across your whole workspace, not per business. Select Add 100 GB — $10/mo to buy the Extra Storage add-on. If you go over your limit, new uploads pause until you add storage or free up space.
- Union & Labor Compliance — a paid add-on included in no plan, billed by member band. Everyone can see the card; only admins and owners can attach it, change the band, or cancel it.
- Field Service — a paid add-on included in no plan.
- E-Signature and Certified Payroll — included with every plan, but also sold standalone to workspaces without a base subscription. Anything you've bought this way appears in its own purchased-products section on this page.
Track usage and AI spend
Select AI usage & spend (/dashboard/settings/billing/usage) for the detail behind your bill.
The page opens with Spend this month and a summary of LLM calls and prompt and completion tokens, then breaks the same month down By capability and By model, each with Calls and Cost columns. These figures come from the same source your plan's hard-cap circuit reads, so they agree with what your budget sees. Only month-to-date is available today; historical ranges are noted as coming later.
The same page carries a Usage & Limits section for your plan's API calls quota and AI budget for the billing month. Each shows a percentage used and a state of On track, Approaching limit, or Over limit. If you need more room before your next renewal, select Buy more calls or Add AI budget to purchase a top-up, which applies for the rest of the current billing month.
