Work Management

Work Management is where you find out what you still have to do. It pulls your open items into one list, tracks the setup steps your business works through as it grows, holds the written procedures your team follows, and gives you a place to hand tasks to an AI agent and review what comes back. If you start your day wondering what to pick up first, start here.

What's included

PageWhat it's for
My WorkEverything on your plate across CRM tasks, checklists, and tenant-level items, in one list
ChecklistThe Lifecycle Checklist — the stage-appropriate setup and operating steps for a business
SOPsA library of standard operating procedures, the documents you draft from it, and team sign-off
DelegationsThe Delegation Inbox — assign work to your AI agents and review what they hand back

Getting started

  1. Open My Work from the Work section of the sidebar. It loads with everything assigned to you already in it — there is nothing to set up first.
  2. Narrow the list using the Business, Status, and Source filters. Source separates CRM tasks, Checklists, and Tenant items.
  3. Choose Add work item for something that does not belong to a deal or a checklist. Give it a Title, and optionally a Description, Priority, Due date, and Assigned to.
  4. Open Checklist, pick a business, and work down the items for its current stage.
  5. Open SOPs and check the Needs sign-off tab for anything awaiting your acknowledgement.

Working your list

A rollup across the top counts Open, In progress, and Completed, with a By business breakdown if you run more than one.

  1. Use the status control on any row to move an item forward. The change saves immediately.
  2. Select Open on a row to jump to the record the item came from.
  3. Use the edit and delete actions to change or remove tenant-level items you created. Deleting asks you to confirm and cannot be undone.

An empty list usually means your filters are too narrow. Reset them to All businesses, All statuses, and All sources to check.

Running the Lifecycle Checklist

The checklist is per business and per stage, so two businesses in the same workspace see different items.

  1. Select a business to load its checklist. The subtitle tells you which stage it is scoped to.
  2. Filter with All items, Assigned, or Unassigned to find work that has no owner yet.
  3. Select items and use Mark complete, Reset, or Delete to act on several at once. Overall Progress tracks how far along you are.
  4. Choose Add custom item for a step specific to your business. Drag items to reorder them, or add a New sub-task under any item.

Building your SOP library

The SOPs page has three tabs: Library, My SOPs, and Needs sign-off.

  1. On Library, pick a category and choose Suggest SOPs. The AI proposes procedures based on your business; nothing is added until you choose Save on the ones you want. Review them first — they are drafts to react to, not vetted policy.
  2. On a saved entry, choose Generate SOP to produce a document. It appears under My SOPs, where you can Open and edit it. Use Remove to take an entry out of the library.
  3. Under Needs sign-off, choose View to read a document and Acknowledge to record that you have read it. Each person signs off for themselves.

Delegating work to agents

The Delegation Inbox is where you assign a task to an AI agent and review the result. Agents do not close their own work.

  1. Enter a Title describing what the agent should do. Assign to agent, Description, Priority, and SLA hours are optional.
  2. Choose Delegate task. The item appears as Open, In progress, or Returned, and the board counts anything overdue against its SLA.
  3. Open a returned delegation to read the Result and the Audit trail.
  4. Choose Approve & close if the work is right. If it is not, use Escalate with a note, explain why, and choose Escalate.

Treat agent output as a draft for review. The approve-or-escalate step exists so a person decides whether the work is acceptable.

Availability

Work Management is on by default for the agency, professional services, construction, manufacturing, nonprofit, and general industry packs. The e-commerce and SaaS packs switch it off by default.

There is no entitlement gating on this module — no plan, add-on, or purchase is required. If it is missing from your sidebar, that is a navigation setting you can change yourself. See Modules, packs, and plans.
